About the Austin Collaborative for Business Development CDC
The Austin Collaborative for Business Development CDC operates as a community-centered development network designed to strengthen local businesses/organizations and stabilize neighborhoods through coordinated access to commercial space, shared resources, and hands-on support.
The Austin Collaborative is a 501c3 strategic community-building entity dedicated to fostering sustainable economic growth and revitalization in West side communities.
The Collaborative aims to foster legacies of wealth by addressing economic gaps and disparities within West side communities with practical solutions and resources to move residents and businesses forward.
Through hands on support in entrepreneurship, business development, non profits, residential housing, peace building and economic development, we can help build thriving communities of color on the West side.
Our Mission
The Austin Collaborative's primary mission is to empower West side communities of color to overcome historical disinvestment through comprehensive real estate development, strategic business investments, and impactful economic and community development initiatives aimed at alleviating economic distress.

Identifying and acquiring properties for redevelopment, prioritizing projects that enhance affordable housing, commercial spaces, and community facilities.
