About the Austin Collaborative Community Development Corporation
Creating Opportunity. Strengthening Neighborhoods.
Austin Collaborative Community Development Corporation works in communities that have experienced decades of public and private disinvestment. Our programs are designed to remove barriers that prevent residents, families, young people, homeowners, and neighborhood entrepreneurs from fully participating in the economic growth of their communities.
Through housing stabilization, financial education, youth programming, neighborhood revitalization, technical assistance, and community-based initiatives, we connect West Side residents with resources and opportunities that strengthen families and create healthier, more stable neighborhoods.
Our focus to accomplish our strategic Goals:
Economic Mobility & Entrepreneurship
Technical assistance, capital-development support, financial education, and resources for neighborhood entrepreneurs, particularly those facing barriers to capital and professional services.
Housing Stability & Neighborhood Revitalization
Home repair assistance, flood recovery, housing counseling, homeowner education, rehabilitation and redevelopment of distressed properties.
Youth & Community Development
Youth enrichment, safe community activities, workforce exposure, leadership development, violence-prevention/community-building initiatives, and events such as Rib Fest's youth programming.
Community Investment & Revitalization
Redevelopment of vacant or underutilized properties, community facilities, affordable housing initiatives, and projects that address neighborhood disinvestment.
Our Mission
Austin Collaborative Community Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) community development organization working to improve the quality of life on Chicago’s West Side. We address historic disinvestment by expanding access to housing stability, economic opportunity, youth development and financial education.
